Mrs W had Lilli installed due to her daughter’s concern about her mother living at home alone. Lilli showed a very clear pattern of routine behaviour. Mrs W did then experience a fall in her own home. The social care worker was informed of this by the daughter. The paramedics had been out and found no injuries. The daughter was in contact a couple of days later as she was concerned about her mother and the GP had referred her to the paramedic’s information. Lilli information showed that, from the date of the fall, Mrs W wasn’t going to bed as usual and was up and down all night.

The social care worker used the information from Lilli, alongside the daughter’s information, to request the GP to go out and challenge the initial response provided by the paramedics.

On attending, the GP confirmed Mrs W was in significant pain and she was admitted to hospital with fractured ribs.
