The Technology in Housing Programme invites you to attend the 2nd year of its in person conference. After the success of last year’s inaugural event TECH is back! Join us as we explore how social housing can go back to basics by looking to the future!
We will look back at the scale of change in Scottish housing over past decades and recognise how innovation and new technology has empowered the sector to modernise with the times. And with that, we launch this Years theme.
“Back to the Future: Saving time with technology”.
The future is always moments away and TEC Housing aims to showcase what the future of social housing may look like, to ensure all RSL’s understand the role that technology, data and digital will play in the design and future delivery of our necessary and valued services.
Benefits of attending
Last year we wanted to win hearts by exploring the humanity in technology but this year our focus is winning minds. We want to explore the thinking behind technology in social housing and how it saves time, money and resources for RSL’s enabling them to get back to their true goal of delivering their social purpose and improving lives and communities across Scotland.
We intend to showcase the landscape of technology in housing by sharing learning from our various TECH projects that include Financial Inclusion, Rural Connectivity and Future workforce development. You will also be introduced to a selection of technology suppliers who are innovatively and collaboratively working with RSL’s.
And finally, You will hear from expert speakers who will share their experience and insight from current work in the sector and showcase how technology and digital has revolutionised how they work and how it has supported: business transformation, modernising housing services and more…

The event will take place on Tuesday 29 October 2024 at The Radisson Blu, Glasgow.
