Capability Scotland to help residents with complex needs live independently with new facility

Care provider, Capability Scotland is developing a new £28 million complex needs facility in Perth, Scotland that is set to feature innovative tech that will give people with complex needs independence, and support staff.

Capability Scotland and home automation company Function Control have built a mock-up of an apartment that will feature in the new complex.

The progressive technology aims to allow residents to influence their environment with assistive controls such as eye-gaze technology, wireless switches and voice command have been installed in a concept apartment built in a theatre.
